In this report we share our efforts towards a more sustainable future. It also represents our first steps towards a shift in our strategy – from departmental and manufacturing unit driven initiatives to more unified action across the company.

science-based targets
4,280 tonnes (48%) of our 2023 goal of eliminating 8,940 tonnes of carbon emissions has already been reached
We are also in the process of tracking our Scope 3 emissions derived from business travel and waste, so that we can measure and set future targets
reducing manufacturing emissions
85% of our filing, casegoods, desking, tables and systems furniture are manufactured in North America using 90% locally sourced materials
We have reduced our physical footprint by 12% from 2015 to 2023 through improved efficiencies, with the goal of reaching 23% by 2026
community + inclusion
190 employees have completed the 4 Seasons of Reconciliation course
60+ nationalities are represented in the workplace, with personnel originating from Albania to Zimbabwe
health + well-being
20+ certified continuing education courses (CEUs) offered, covering a range of health and wellness topics from supporting caregiver respite in healthcare to designing for neurodiversity in the workplace
lifecycle + circular economy
5,000 wood skids diverted each year
2,000,000lbs. of recycled rubber upcycled into products like boot trays, flowerpots, and deck tiles annually
materials + transparency
100% of Global carded textiles are PFAS-free
100% of our seating is BIFMA Level 3 certified
