GLOBAL AODA POLICY

Global (the “Company”) is fully committed to meeting its obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). In doing so, the Company also complies with its accommodation obligations under the Ontario Human Rights Code.

The AODA Policy relates to both the Company’s employees and members of the public where applicable.

Assistive Devices

Persons with disabilities can utilise their assistive devices while accessing our goods and services. Any employees who are in direct contact with individuals using or requiring assistive devices will be trained in their usage.

Communication

Company employees will communicate with persons with disabilities in ways that take into account such disabilities.

Service Animals and/or Support Persons

Persons who require the use and/or support of an animal or support person will be provided reasonable access to Company premises. Specific requirements for accommodation will be assessed in advance of a visit by a trained Company representative.

Notice of Temporary Disruption

In the event of a planned or unexpected disruption of either Company services or facilities, the Company will immediately notify the applicable Person (or Persons) with Disabilities and undertake planning alternative arrangements or rescheduling a visit.

Training for Staff

The Company will provide (and document) training of staff who will interact with Persons with Disabilities on our premises. Such training will include, but is not limited to, the AODA standards, types of disabilities, accommodation initiatives, how to interact with persons of varied disabilities, how to utilise assistive devices, interacting with a support person or service animal, and how to provide alternative communication requests in accessible formats.

Feedback

The Company welcomes feedback as to the effectiveness of its being able to accommodate Persons with Disabilities according to its AODA Policy. Inquiries can be addressed directly to the Human Resources Department in all respects related to the Policy which, in turn, will address any requests or concerns in a timely manner.

The Global AODA Policy will be reviewed on an annual basis.
